Heiko Hüttel | Microsoft

Head of Mobility, Automotive and Transport EMEA

Heiko Huettel has a master’s degree in medical informatics and started his professional business career in the eBusiness Hype at the beginning of the 2000s. After working for Cenit AG in Stuttgart, Heiko joined Daimler AG in 2002. Within several management positions Heiko build platforms for employees, suppliers and customers. After positions in engineering and large-scale change management projects within the retail organization, Heiko has developed and sustained the connected car strategy and implementation within Mercedes-Benz.

Heiko joined Volkswagen AG in 2017 as head of connected car. His responsibilities included the large partnership of Volkswagen AG with Microsoft, with the foundation of VW‘s CARIAD, he was responsible for Technology and Partner Management until the end of 2019.

In January 2020 Heiko joined Microsoft as the head of Automotive, Mobility and Transport in EMEA, his responsibilities include leading the software defined vehicle globally.
